Cancellation conditions

The following conditions apply only to bookings made via this homepage.

For vacations from May 2024 to November 2024
In times like these, much is uncertain. However, we want you to feel safe. That’s why we’ve relaxed our cancellation conditions for your summer vacation in 2024.

  • You can cancel free of charge up to 60 days before arrival.
  • From 60 days to arrival the cancellation fee is 100%.

For vacations from December 2023until April 2024

  • You can cancel free of charge up to 3 months before arrival.
  • From 3 months to 1 month before arrival the cancellation fee is 40%.
  • From 1 month until arrival the cancellation fee is 100%.

Non Refundable Rate

  • We are also happy to offer a Non-Refundable Rate upon request.

To minimize your costs in the event of a cancellation, we work closely with the European Travel Cancellation Insurance as a partner. Below you will find the benefits of the cancellation insurance, which you can take out directly with a booking.

Money-back guarantee
In the event of a border or hotel closure or lockdown, you can cancel free of charge, even at short notice. In these cases, we also offer the following:

  1. You rebook your vacation in house Vera, apartment Edith or apartment Svea to another period. In this case, the deposit would stay with us and be used for the newly booked vacation. Of course, you can also tell us the new desired date only after a few months.
  2. You cancel your vacation with us free of charge. In this case, we will of course immediately transfer back the deposit paid. For this we need your account details (IBAN and BIC).

In case of border closures by the government during your vacation with us, you can of course leave at any time and the remaining booked days will be cancelled free of charge.

Travel insurance cover

We know from experience that despite all the vacation cheer, something unexpected can come up. To save you hassle and cancellation costs, we recommend the Hotel Cancellation Premium Insurance from Europäische Reiseversicherung AG (including helicopter recovery costs and accident benefits).

If you can’t take that well-deserved vacation because you’re sick yourself, tested COVID positive, or have to be quarantined because of a relative in your shared household?
